Under A Darkening Sky

sky.
Trees are silhouetted against the darkening dusk.
A car, coming out of a turn, focuses its lights on
the trees
suddenly revealing a
glimpse of hidden colors, shapes and dangers.
But as the car careens around another curve,
night closes in: hiding
all again.
