Maybe.
Our orchid
is a wonderful plant
green and vibrant
putting up a single
purple shoot
on which the buds
grow ever fatter,
ever more numerous.
It is intoxicating in its
possibilities.
Since before Christmas
the buds
have been there.
All through
January
the Buds have grown ever bigger..
What are they waiting for?
Spring?
Maybe.
