Just a bit of fun, don't take offense

The Real Reason for the Seasons
The Gods—mister, missus and the little ones,
along with a flock of angels—
have a wonderful home
just above Kentucky,
and that has made all the difference.

Our Kentucky weather
reflects the activities of the Gods.
Yesterday, Mrs. God
undertook spring cleaning:
using carpet beaters and vacuums
to stir things up and clean things out.

The dust and feathers and other things
fell to earth —
four, five, even nine inches—
allowing kids of all ages to make snow forts,
snow angels and have snowball fights.

The next day, Mr. God,
cleaned out his office and the garage,
before sweeping and  hosing off the patio.
The water from the patio
fell as rain on Kentucky.

Yesterday it was 12 and snowing.
Today it is 46 and raining.
And you thought the reason for the
change of weather
was a polar vortex
followed by a warming trend.

Oh, how wrong
you were.
Mr. Weatherman,
go to church—
find out the real reason for the seasons.
