Picky Eater
While her fellows
     seemingly eat every available seed
           one goldfinch
reaches in, pulls out
     and throws to the ground
           every seed she finds.
If she was looking for the
     'perfect' seed,
it was apparently not to be found
     in our feeder
for she flew off, even as I watched.
